Timberlake

The field we call Timberlake is a smaller field with sandy soils by the river and a couple of smaller lakes. Because of these sandy soils, Timberlake has some big challenges. It takes a little more water, fertilizer, and care to get Timberlake to its biggest potential. Giving it a year of rest and relaxation would put its soil life into overdrive. Storing carbon in the soil and unlocking nutrients to make this field the best that it can be. The added carbon will make Timberlake able to store more water and use more of the nutrients already in the soil to get back to work better than ever! Since it is so close to the river, deer will love to feast on the cover crops every evening.
